With a playoff win on the line, Loyalsock Township rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 55-43 win over the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Lancers sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Loyalsock Township's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 30-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points over those games. As for Shady Side Academy, their loss ended a 19-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 28-2.

As of now, neither Loyalsock Township nor Shady Side Academy have any future games scheduled.
