Football Recap: Onaga Takes a Loss

If Onaga was feeling good fresh off their 32-6 takedown of Valley Falls last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Buffaloes lost to the Jefferson County North Chargers at home by a 26-8 margin on Friday. The Buffaloes were not able to make up for their loss to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Ryder Kolterman threw for 31 yards on two of 11 attempts. On the ground, Gavin Kolterman rushed for 67 yards and one score.

Onaga now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Jefferson County North, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Onaga wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 55-0 defeat against Jackson Heights on the 10th. As for Jefferson County North, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 48-0 win against Valley Falls on the 10th.
