Softball Recap: Holt Takes a Loss

Holt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the St. Charles Pirates. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 15-1.

Natalie Miranda made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That run was her first of the season. Peyton Henkelman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Holt's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for St. Charles, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

As of now, neither Holt nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
