Baseball Recap: Berkmar Takes a Loss

Berkmar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the South Cobb Eagles.

Berkmar saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryon Valentine, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Berkmar's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for South Cobb, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-17.

Berkmar and South Cobb will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Patriots see the field they'll take on Meadowcreek at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for South Cobb, their break will end when they face Wheeler at 5:55 p.m. on the 13th.
