Baseball Recap: Trinity Classical Takes a Loss

Trinity Classical fell victim to Pinecrest Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 24-0 to the Pinecrest Academy Paladins. The defeat leaves Trinity Classical still looking for their first win of the season.

Trinity Classical's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Pinecrest Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Trinity Classical will challenge Horizon Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Trinity Classical has given up an average of 17.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Pinecrest Academy, they will square off against Lanier Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Pinecrest Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Lanier Christian Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
