Basketball Recap: Capistrano Valley Takes a Loss

Capistrano Valley kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They received a blow as they fell 61-46 to the Walnut Mustangs. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Capistrano Valley has already played their next matchup, a 58-49 defeat against Mark Keppel on the 21st. As for Walnut, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 89-60 win against Calvary Baptist on the 20th.
