Softball Recap: Wesleyan Drops Season-High Score on Cambridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wesleyan). Everything went their way against the Cambridge Bears on Thursday as they made off with a 22-9 win. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by eight runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Wesleyan's third in a row) raised their record to 22-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Cambridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-5.

Wesleyan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cambridge, they will face off against Lassiter at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
