The Cherokee Christian Warriors will be playing at home against the North Georgia HomeSchool Tribe at 3:00 p.m. Cherokee Christian will be strutting in after a win while North Georgia HomeSchool will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Cherokee Christian turned things around against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy on Tuesday. They blew past the Saints 11-2. The Warriors not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 28th.

Gabe Mccure was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low. He was even better at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He has become a key player for Cherokee Christian: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-7 otherwise.

May scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Messer went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those three runs gave May a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Will McCure, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Cherokee Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Johnson Ferry Christian Academy only posted a batting average of .286.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for North Georgia HomeSchool's offense. They came up short against Cristo Rey Atlanta on Monday, falling 10-0.

Jacob Harmon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double.

Cherokee Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
