Softball Recap: Seminole County Takes a Loss

Seminole County lost against Pataula Charter Academy two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Panthers, falling 14-8. Indians fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Panthers since Tuesday.

A Williams made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was J Henry, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Seminole County has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Pataula Charter Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.

Looking ahead, Seminole County will be playing at home against Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bearcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.58 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Miller County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
