Softball Recap: Arvada Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Denver North on Tuesday, Arvada came back down to earth. The Bulldogs took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forge Christian Fury on Thursday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bulldogs, who until this game were averaging 3.8 runs allowed.

Alyssa Moreno made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Lopez, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Arvada's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Forge Christian, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

While Arvada had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
