Softball Recap: Bowlegs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Butner on Monday, Bowlegs came back down to earth. The Bison came up short against the Varnum Whippets on Thursday, falling 21-4. The Bison have struggled against the Whippets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Bowlegs' loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Varnum, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Whippets beat Bowlegs by a score of 10-0 later that day.
