Soccer Recap: Millikan Triumphs

Millikan kept a clean sheet against Villa Park on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Villa Park Spartans. The Rams' winning goal came courtesy of Layla Valle.

Millikan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Villa Park, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Millikan will be taking part in a tournament against Edison at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Millikan's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Edison's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Villa Park, they will venture away from home to square off against Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
