Goddard lost to Deming back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Rockets walked away with a 40-33 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Goddard's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Deming, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
