Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Bluff). They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Corning Cardinals on Tuesday. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

Red Bluff's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Corning, they moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Bluff will be home for the holidays to greet Anderson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Corning, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Corning duke it out with the University Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Corning is facing University Prep at the right time seeing as University Prep is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
