Baseball Recap: Augusta Christian Takes a Loss

Augusta Christian managed to slip by Ben Lippen the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 11-1 to the Falcons on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered against the Falcons since April 12, 2018.

Augusta Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Fernandes, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Augusta Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Ben Lippen, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

While Augusta Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
