Basketball Recap: Bethany Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Bethany entered their contest against Collinsville on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bethany Bronchos might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 60-41 to the Collinsville Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bronchos came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Cardinals are ranked 131st).

Bethany's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. As for Collinsville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Bethany wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-35 win against Tuttle on the 14th. Collinsville has also already played their next contest, a 66-62 victory against East Central on the 14th.
