Baseball Recap: Liberty County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Camden County

Liberty County kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Camden County Wildcats, falling 16-8. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Anthony Gerace was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Ezzard Jemison was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Liberty County Panthers take on the Bradwell Institute Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Camden County, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Glynn Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
