After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Pope finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of the Woodstock Wolverines by a score of 2-1. The Greyhounds' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Pope's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Woodstock, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.
