Costa Mesa extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Myah Martinez. The Mustangs came out on top against the Estancia Eagles by a score of 54-41 on Friday thanks in part to Martinez, who almost dropped a triple-double with 16 points, nine rebounds, and ten steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 38 games she's played dating back to last season.

Another player making a difference was Leilani Quero, who posted eight points and ten steals. She has become a key player for Costa Mesa: the team is undefeated when she posts at least five steals, but 1-4 otherwise.

Costa Mesa's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Estancia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Costa Mesa will head out to challenge Dana Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will be up against the Dolphins' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.7 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Estancia, they have already played their next game, a 63-42 loss against Garden Grove on the 13th.
