Softball Recap: Air Academy Comes Up Short

Air Academy lost against Palmer Ridge back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Kadets lost 13-4 to the Bears. The Kadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keira Finkle was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Air Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-5-1. As for Palmer Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Air Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Lutheran on the 8th. As for Palmer Ridge, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-2 victory against Cheyenne Mountain on the 8th.
