Recap: Everett Warriors vs. Forbes Road
The Everett Warriors won against Forbes Road on Monday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Everett walked away with a 49-37 victory over Forbes Road. The win was familiar territory for Everett who now have three in a row.
Everett was led to victory by Cloe Price and Morgan Bowser. Price scored 12 points along with eight assists and six rebounds, while Bowser scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Price posted eight or more assists. Jade Colledge was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Forbes Road's loss came despite strong showings from Emma Skiles and Avrie Harr. Skiles scored 11 points, while Harr scored nine points along with ten rebounds. Harr is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Joslyn McConaughey, who scored four points.
Everett now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Forbes Road, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everett will be home for the holidays to greet Meyersdale at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Forbes Road, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Shade at 7:15 p.m. on December 18th.
