Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Adams walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Larchmont Charter Timberwolves 59-29. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

West Adams' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zolah Mcdonald led the charge by putting up 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ashley Lopez-Merida, who posted 14 points.

West Adams pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.6 points over those games. As for Larchmont Charter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Coming up, West Adams will welcome Northridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northridge Academy's defense has only allowed 29.3 points per game this season, so West Adams' offense will have their work cut out for them. Larchmont Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
