Football Recap: Sage Hill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Sage Hill was feeling good fresh off their 46-12 takedown of California Lutheran last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lightning fell 29-21 to the Flintridge Prep Wolves on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lightning of the 35-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Owen Willingham was his usual excellent self, picking up 78 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 34 yards and one score for Flintridge Prep.

Sage Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Flintridge Prep, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Sage Hill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-16 victory against Cate on the 24th. As for Flintridge Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 31-12 win against Chadwick on the 24th.
