Bernstein had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Belmont Sentinels 40-6. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won seven games by 22  points or more  so far this season.
 Richard Vallejo threw for 60 yards and a pair of  touchdowns.   Markus Rivera was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards and one  score.  On the ground,  Michael Castro rushed for 113 yards and two  TDs on only 15 carries.
Bernstein's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Belmont, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Looking ahead, Bernstein will take on Marshall at 12:00  p.m.  on  the 8th. Belmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
