Football Recap: Bernstein Piles Up the Points Against Belmont

Bernstein won the last time they faced Belmont and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dragons simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sentinels 40-6. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Bernstein didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Daniel Morales.

Bernstein's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.0 points over those games. As for Belmont, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Bernstein will challenge Marshall at 12:00 p.m. on the 8th. Belmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
