Softball Recap: Worth County Takes a Loss

Worth County came into this matchup off a tough eight-run loss on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Crisp County Cougars by a score of 14-12 on Monday. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Worth County got a massive performance out of Isabelle Hancock, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Ansley Bartley was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Worth County dropped their record down to 10-19 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Crisp County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.
