Soccer Recap: Calhoun Comes Up Short

After flying high against LaFayette last Tuesday, Calhoun came back down to earth. The Yellow Jackets lost 6-1 to the Wesleyan Wolves on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Calhoun were already down 3-0.

Calhoun's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6. As for Wesleyan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Calhoun has already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Sonoraville on the 1st. As for Wesleyan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Mount Vernon on the 1st.
