Football Game Preview: Circle Thunderbirds vs. Fort Scott Tigers + Official Tickets

Circle is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Fort Scott a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Circle Thunderbirds will be playing at home against the Fort Scott Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Circle managed to slip by Rose Hill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Thunderbirds took a blow against the Rockets on Friday, falling 42-12. The contest marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Although Circle took the loss, they still got scores from Jay Bonewitz and Jason Smith.

Meanwhile, Fort Scott came up short against Chanute on Friday and fell 24-12.

Fort Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Circle, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.

Circle was taken down by Fort Scott 58-22 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Thunderbirds were down 36-0.
