Softball Recap: St. Teresa's Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, St. Teresa's Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Summit Christian Academy Eagles, falling 15-2. The Stars were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Teresa's Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Summit Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

St. Teresa's Academy will head out on the road to square off against St. Michael the Archangel at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Guardians have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Odessa at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
