After a string of six wins, Le Mars's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors by a score of 4-2. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat last Tuesday.

Le Mars' loss dropped their record down to 30-10. As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 33-6.

Le Mars does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, they are taking a road trip to face off against A-D-M on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.1, the Tigers 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
