Soccer Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord managed to keep up with Berean Christian until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Concord Bears lost 3-0 to the Berean Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in January.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Berean Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-1-1 record this season.

Coming up, Concord will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Concord is facing Valley Christian at the right time seeing as Valley Christian is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Berean Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Ygnacio Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
