Perham is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Staples-Motley on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Yellowjackets had to suffer through a 49-14 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Barnesville, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Hawley 38-36. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their six-point performance the contest before.

Perham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Barnesville, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
