Baseball Recap: Addison Trail Takes a Loss

Addison Trail lost to Downers Grove South on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blazers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Louie Franczak made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Addison Trail's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Downers Grove South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

While Addison Trail had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
