Soccer Recap: West Hall Comes Up Short

If West Hall was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Cherokee Bluff last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson Dragons on Tuesday. West Hall were not able to make up for their defeat to Jefferson from their previous meeting back in February of 2019.

West Hall's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Hall will venture away from home to square off against Seckinger at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Hall are facing Seckinger at the right time seeing as Seckinger are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to challenge Buford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
