Football Game Preview: Annapolis Panthers vs. Meade Mustangs + How To Watch

The Annapolis Panthers will face off against the Meade Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Annapolis is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Annapolis duked it out with Arundel on Friday. The Panthers received a blow as they fell 28-14 to the Wildcats. The Panthers gained 63 more yards on the day, but it was the Wildcats that made the best use of them.

Zyhir Neal put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 150 receiving yards and one touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 79 yards.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 44-7, which was the final score in Meade's tilt against Severna Park on Friday.

Annapolis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Meade, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.

Annapolis lost to Meade at home by a decisive 35-20 margin in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. Thankfully for the Panthers, Alijah Johnson (who threw for 152 yards and one TD, and also punched in one score on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
