Elkton never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 44-0 victory over the Bel Air Bobcats. This was payback for the Golden Elks, who suffered a 29-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Owen McBride was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 334 yards and five TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes. A healthy portion of McBride's aerial production (99 yards to be exact) went to Zyaire Tate.

Elkton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jamir Crawford, Ziel Cleveland, and Isaiah Yates picked up one apiece. Crawford got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win (which was Elkton's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average this season. As for Bel Air, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
