Ferndale piles up the points against Laytonville

Recap: Ferndale Wildcats vs. Laytonville Warriors

Even though the Ferndale Wildcats have not done well against the Laytonville Warriors recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Ferndale simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Laytonville 55-18 on the road. That 55-18 margin sets a new team best for Ferndale this season.

Ferndale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michaela Ellsmore, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reaghan Langer, who scored 13 points.

Ferndale's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Laytonville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
