Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sonoma Valley). Everything went their way against the American Canyon Wolves on Thursday as the Sonoma Valley Dragons made off with an 11-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Dragons needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Their offense was hitting American Canyon from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Brianna Jurasek led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Sonoma Valley's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7-3. As for American Canyon, they dropped their record down to 1-11-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Sonoma Valley will venture away from home to challenge Vintage at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vintage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. As for American Canyon, they will be playing at home against Napa at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. American Canyon is facing Napa at the right time seeing as Napa is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
