Softball Recap: Woodstock Comes Up Short

Woodstock fell victim to River Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Wolverines have lost by exactly four runs.

Woodstock has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for River Ridge, they pushed their record up to 9-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodstock will host Riverwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for River Ridge, they will be playing at home against North Cobb at 1:00 p.m. on the 26th.
