Softball Recap: Taylor County Finds Playoff Glory Versus Trion

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Taylor County had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Trion Bulldogs 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since September 2nd.

Trion's batters probably weren't too happy with Victoria Cooper, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (she gave up seven walks). Cooper has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
