Soccer Recap: Ruidoso Takes a Loss

Ruidoso was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Mountain Timberwolves. If Ruidoso were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to East Mountain when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ruidoso's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for East Mountain, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ruidoso will welcome Portales at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Mountain, they will face off against West Las Vegas at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
