Softball Game Preview: Starr's Mill Panthers vs. Northside Patriots + How To Watch

The Starr's Mill Panthers will face off against the Northside Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Starr's Mill duked it out with Harris County on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 9-2 to the Tigers. The Panthers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Northside faced Loganville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Patriots fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 10-8. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Patriots, who until this contest were averaging 3.17 runs allowed.

Northside got a massive performance out of Sidne Malone, who went 3-for-4 with one home run. That home run was Malone's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Fridley, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Starr's Mill's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Northside, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-5.
