Clovis has gone 8-1-1 against Buchanan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cougars will welcome the Bears at 6:00 p.m. The match will give Clovis their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Clovis is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Arvin just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Saturday. They and the Bears finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Clovis have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2025.

Meanwhile, Buchanan played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against Justin Garza.

With that draw, Clovis' record moves to 13-0-2. As for Buchanan, they moved theirs to 7-2-5.
