Columbus is a perfect 4-0 against Jordan since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Columbus Blue Devils will take on the Jordan Red Jackets at 5:30 p.m. Neither Columbus nor Jordan posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Columbus came up short against Glenwood on Monday, falling 8-2. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbus saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Randall, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Randall has posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, Jordan has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.08 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 18-1 to Schley County.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Columbus has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Jordan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Columbus was able to grind out a solid win over Jordan when the teams last played back in March of 2022, winning 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Columbus since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
