Volleyball Recap: South County's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

South County waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Routt Catholic Rockets. For the Vipers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Rockets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

South County got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 30-28.

South County now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Routt Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South County will host Carrollton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Routt Catholic, they will be playing at home against Illinois School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
