Volleyball Game Preview: Monterey Trail Mustangs vs. Elk Grove Thundering Herd + How To Watch

The Monterey Trail Mustangs will take on the Elk Grove Thundering Herd at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monterey Trail is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Monterey Trail came up short against Pleasant Grove and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 25-17, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Elk Grove also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Cosumnes Oaks by a score of 3-1.

While Elk Grove had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 20-25, 25-19.

Elk Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Monterey Trail, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Monterey Trail came out on top in a nail-biter against Elk Grove when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Thundering Herd have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
