Softball Recap: Lincoln North Star Comes Up Short

Lincoln North Star lost against Lincoln East on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Navigators fell 8-3 to the Spartans. The Navigators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln North Star saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Delaney Mirabella, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Lincoln North Star's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lincoln East, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Lincoln North Star will be taking part in a tournament against Waverly at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. The Navigators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Lincoln East, they will square off against North Platte at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
