Softball Recap: Crestwood's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Crestwood lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Decorah-North Winneshiek, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Cadets never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. The Cadets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Crestwood, bringing their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crestwood beat the Vikings by a score of 4-1 later that day.
