Black River fell victim to Union and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Red Hawks, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the River Rats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Black River's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Union, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-16 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Union beat Black River by a score of 14-0 later that day.
