Softball Recap: Westmoore Sets Scoring Season-High Against Weatherford

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westmoore). They never let the Weatherford Eagles get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won three games in a row.

The win got Westmoore back to even at 6-6. As for Weatherford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Westmoore wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Mustang on the 23rd. As for Weatherford, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop McGuinness at 5:00 p.m. on September 8.
